Hello, I’m Lilo, a 23-year-old creative professional with roots in South Africa and a passion for storytelling through visual design. In 2024, I graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy as a production designer. Before starting my studies at the Film Academy, I spent two years at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, where I pursued a degree in Communication and Multimedia Design. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for storytelling and symbolism, inspiring me to focus on production design.
Throughout my studies, I sought to develop my skills broadly by participating in various projects, ranging from costume design and special effects makeup to set dressing and art direction. I worked on art direction for several music videos for MEAU and expanded my graphic design skills by creating various movie posters.
As I embark on the next chapter of my career, I look forward to working on more inspiring projects within various art departments, where I can continue to further develop my skills.
